About Me

I LOve food and I love cooking with nutrition in mind!

I have been promoting health for over 25 years; first as an Occupational Therapist, then as a Personal Trainer and now as a Holistic Nutritionist. Although my adult children are no longer at home, I spent many years figuring out ways to provide wholesome food for grab and go breakfasts, for in between soccer games and for that sit down family meal with only 30 minutes to prepare. I am also a Crossfit and an endurance athlete who has learned the discipline of timing and types of food for fuel.

I truly believe in taking care of health through food and movement and do my best to practice this daily. I am a passionate "foodie" and use my nutrition knowledge to feed my family and friends as well as to improve my athletic performance. As a Personal Trainer I try to get people to enjoy moving, to get outside and participate in all the North Shore has to offer, using real food for all of their adventures.

When not working or cooking, I am usually running or mountain biking on local trails or lifting heavy weights at the gym. I grow an edible garden and am overwhelmed by the joy growing my own food brings me.

Through my own self improvement journey, I have come to realize how much self image and mindset was attached to my choices around food and taking care of myself. As a result, I have been spending more and more time on my own self image and analyzing my beliefs around food. This mind shift has been key to enhancing my physical and mental health. It has also changed my way of providing service. I now emphasize self image and mindset and find that at least three months is required to ensure clients can make nutritional and lifestyle changes into long term habits.

I strive for providing exceptional service and consequently only take on a few clients at a time.

I hope you are one of them.
